The MFC-440CN’s fast print speeds mean you’ll not be kept waiting for your prints: its minimum ink droplet size of just 1.5pl ensures high quality results with better definition. You can also send and receive colour faxes with any compatible machines and the Network PC-FAX system lets you automatically send and receive information to and from your PC.

There’s a built-in scanner  included that can be used for a wide variety of purposes including send a scan in an e-mail or report, save a scan as a file or onto a media card, or use the versatile scanning technology to manipulate an image.

You can also translate a scanned document or a webpage into a number of languages using the SYSTRAN WebTranslator 5.0 software.

Many of these functions do not require a PC. The MFC-440CN can work as a standalone colour copier using the ADF or flatbed, so you can make up to 99 multiple copies at the touch of a button. With its flatbed scanner the usual difficulty of copying thick bound documents is a thing of the past.

When it comes to printing quality colour photos, the MFC-440CN makes the whole process so much easier. Using the PhotoCapture Centre, simply download your photos directly from your digital camera via the PicBridge interface or a media card and use the 2.0” colour LCD preview screen to prepare your photos for print. Brother original LC1000 ink cartridges with fade resistant ink, used with Brother BP61 glossy paper, enables the MFC-440CN to print with a smaller droplet size (1.5 picolitre). The result is a higher quality photo with better definition.
